In California, how does the landlord terminate residency for a tenant?

You have to notify your tenant of the rental increase in writing, with a date, an address, the name of the tenant, and your signature, and the date that the increase will begin. Some places require 30, 60, 90, or 120 days notice. The tenant will argue. Dont reply. When the date comes for the rent to be raised the tenant will pay the old amount. Send a registered letter of eviction to the tenant: include the date, the amount paid, the amount owed, a date by when to cure the eviction notice (usually 14 days), your signature, the name of the tenant, and the address of the tenant. The tenant will probably pay the amount owed by the date demanded. If not, begin the eviction process.
